MerCruiser 454/502 CID Carbureted & TBI 1983-99

These fresh water cooling systems, manufactured for us by Seakamp and San Juan Engineering, will convert a currently functioningMerCruiser 454/502 CID Carbureted & Throttle Body Fuel Injected models (1983-99) from a raw water cooled application to a fully functional fresh water cooled full system (a full system cools the engine block and exhaust manifold with coolant). The systems come complete with a heat exchanger, thermostat & housing, expansion/surge tank, all gaskets, hoses, bolts, brackets & clamps necessary to convert from raw to fresh water cooling. Fresh Water (Closed) Cooling full systems will circulate anti-freeze through your exhaust manifolds as well as your engine block, protecting both from the harmful effects of raw water corrosion and potential ice damage.

Fresh Water Cooling Full Systems
SK 4823 1985-1996 - Front Mounted Fresh Water Full System by Seakamp Engineering, fits 454 CID/7.4L V8 Chevy MerCruiser, Carbureted  engines w/ center discharge exhaust, Alpha, Bravo or Straight Inboard drive.  Works on engines with v-belts. Cools both engine block and manifolds. 
MC334 1983-1998 - Rear Mounted Fresh Water Full System by San Juan Engineering, fits 454 CID V8 Chevy MerCruiser, Carbureted or Throttle Body Fuel Injected engines w/ center discharge exhaust. Works on engines with v-belts.  Cools both engine block and manifolds. (Instructions not specific to this kit. Uses MC304 Instructions with Similar Application)

1990-1999 - Front Mounted Fresh Water Full System by San Juan Engineering, fits 454 CID V8 Chevy MerCruiser, Carbureted or Throttle Body Fuel Injected engines w/ center discharge exhaust, Bravo Drive or straight inboard applications. Works on engines with v-belts.  Can be used on Alpha 1 Drives of the same years but you may need to add a seperate raw water pump. Cools both engine block and manifolds.
MC335 Early 1990's V-Drive ONLY - Fresh Water Full System by San Juan Engineering, fits 454 CID V8 Chevy MerCruiser, Carbureted or Throttle Body Fuel Injected engines w/ center discharge exhaust. Works on engines with v-belts.  Raw Water Inlet Hose must be routed over Valve Cover.

1996-1997 - Front Mounted Fresh Water Full System by San Juan Engineering, fits 454 CID V8 Chevy MerCruiser Magnum EFI Throttle Body Fuel Injected engines w/ center discharge exhaust, straight inboard only.  Cools both engine block and manifolds.

3" Spacer
If you have a 3" spacer block in between your exhaust manifold and exhaust riser, check the box to the right.  There will be an additional charge of $20 per fresh water system added and you will get the appropriate hardware to accommodate them.
